The area of operation of the automated taxation system is expanding in the Russian Federation

Starting from February 1, 2025, the automated taxation system (AUTOSN) will be extended to six more regions in Russia. This is reported by the press service of the Federal Tax Service.

Karelia, Mari El, Nenets Autonomous District, Belgorod, Zaporizhia and Sverdlovsk regions will enter the zone of operation of the AWACS. Starting from March 1, taxpayers of the DPR will be able to join this tax regime.

According to the agency, currently more than 22.7 thousand entrepreneurs use self-driving cars. Since January 1, 2025, this tax regime has been in effect in 58 regions of the country. It is noted that now the self-employed, individual entrepreneurs and organizations operating under the simplified taxation system (STS) can switch to self-employment not from January 1, as it was before, but from the first day of any month.
