On January 16, an agreement was signed in Kiev between the UK and Ukraine on a 100-year partnership. The document covers various areas of trade, science, energy, and others. It also contains provisions on defense. In particular, the parties agreed to establish a partnership in the field of maritime security, including with the aim of strengthening the security of the Baltic, Black and Azov Seas.
