Luxury residential real estate has become more common in Moscow

In 2024, the number of transactions in the premium residential new buildings market increased significantly in Moscow, Kommersant informs with reference to the analytics of luxury real estate agencies.

Growth can be associated with a large market supply and investment. Wealthy citizens, due to restrictions on the withdrawal of funds, began to consider premium housing as one of the investment tools.

High sales figures and a large volume of luxury real estate sold may lead to a shortage of supply in 2025. Due to the rising cost of construction and the withdrawal of imported manufacturers of building materials from the market, developers are forced to slow down the implementation of new projects.
