The United States has extended its general license, which allows financial transactions with Russian banks to service civilian nuclear projects, RIA Novosti informs.
The U.S. Treasury has authorized such operations until November 21, 2025. The list of banks includes Gazprombank, Sberbank, VTB, Alfa-Bank, Rosbank, Otkritie, as well as the Central Bank of Russia and other financial institutions. The license provides for the exclusion of transactions related to a number of individual projects, as well as debit transactions for the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the National Welfare Fund and the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
