Since the beginning of the year, Russia has exported 83.5 million tons of grain. The increase was 4% compared to last year. This is reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor.
Exports of grain processing products (flour, cereals, malt, etc.) increased by 18%, amounting to 2 million tons.
The main buyers of Russian grain and its processed products were the countries of the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
The ministry noted that work is actively underway to allow Russian grain products to enter the Chinese market. We are talking about plans to export winter wheat and barley, wheat bran, soybean meal, beet pulp, red beans, mash, amaranth and its processed products, linseed cake, millet, mustard and malt to China.
