In Russia, more than 600 thousand people were identified and forced to legalize in shadow employment

In 9 months of 2024, over 663 thousand people employed in the shadow economy were identified in Russia. This is with reference to data prepared by the office of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova for the meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the restoration of the labor market, reports TASS.

Out of the total number of identified cases, 97% or 620 thousand people have successfully legalized: 46% have concluded employment contracts, 27% have registered as self—employed, 19% have registered as sole proprietors, 1.4% have concluded civil law contracts.
