Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the decree approved by the President of the Russian Federation on the Fundamentals of the state policy of nuclear deterrence is directly related to the unconfirmed decision of Western countries to allow Ukraine to strike deep into Russia with long-range missiles. According to him, regardless of what goal the authors of the relevant publications pursued, it is important what kind of response will follow from the Russian Federation.
