By 2060, Russia plans to achieve carbon neutrality. This was stated by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking at the summit of world leaders on climate action within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
So, according to Mishustin, in Russia the emphasis is on improving energy efficiency, developing electric transport, and introducing modern solutions to agriculture and forestry. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that Russia stands for joining forces in the fight against climate change.
