The Ministry of Energy is considering the possibility of lifting the ban on the export of AI-92 gasoline. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.

"lt;p> He stressed that the resumption of fuel exports is only for "92nd" gasoline and only on condition of confirmation of the presence of surpluses in the domestic market.

"We will have to make a decision to allow exports so that enterprises do not reduce their production volumes," Novak said.

The embargo on the export of gasoline from the Russian Federation was established in March 2024. During the summer months, the ban was temporarily lifted, and then its effect was resumed again to saturate the domestic market during seasonal demand and scheduled repairs at the refinery.
