Russia has taken the initiative to Serbia to create a joint venture for seed breeding. This was stated by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov after a meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Serbian committee on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.

“In the field of agriculture, we propose to Serbian partners to organize a joint venture to breed hybrid sunflower and corn seeds, ”, - said Reshetnikov.
