The cost of returning Russians stranded in Japan to their homeland will be borne by the tour operator. This is reported by "Izvestia" with reference to the cruise organizer.

There are 538 Russian tourists on board the Spectrum of the Seas cruise liner, which broke down off the coast of Japan, and their Japanese transit visas have expired. The ship is in the port of Yokohama until repairs are completed.

The Russian Embassy in Japan also provides assistance in the return of Russians to their homeland. Representatives of the embassy have already contacted the Japanese immigration service, where they confirmed their readiness to assist in organizing the departure of Russian tourists.
