Central Bank: Russians have invested more than 60 billion rubles in the long-term savings program

The volume of investments within the framework of the long-term savings program as of September 9 is 64.7 billion rubles. This was announced by Olga Shishlyannikova, Director of the Department of Investment Financial Intermediaries of the Central Bank.

"lt;p>«It can be noted that out of one and two tenths of a million contracts that have been concluded, every third citizen who enters into such an agreement pays into this program more than once," she said.

The Bank of Russia assesses the results for the start of this implementation as very positive.

The Long-term Savings program was launched this year. It provides for state co-financing of contributions for ten years in the amount of 36 thousand rubles annually, as well as the right to a tax deduction.

The funds of citizens who will be contributed under the program are insured in the amount of 2.8 million rubles. You can start using the funds after 15 years or when you reach the age of 55 (women) and 60 (men).

According to the instruction of Russian President Vladimir Putin, by the end of this year, the volume of investments of citizens within the framework of the program should amount to 250 billion rubles.
