As part of the investigation of a criminal case of particularly large-scale fraud with funds allocated for the improvement and development of the park &Patriot», the accounts of suspects were seized. This is reported by the press service of the RF IC.

We are talking about Vladimir Shesterov, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Russian Ministry of Defense, and Vyacheslav Akhmedov, director of the Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation. At the request of the department, their accounts and property totaling more than 60 million rubles were seized.

Facts of embezzlement of budget funds allocated for the improvement of the park, opened lt;/a> in July 2024. According to preliminary estimates, the defendants stole more than 40 million rubles.
