In Russia, annual inflation slowed to 9.05 in August%

In Russia, annual inflation slowed to 9.05% in August 2024, a month earlier this figure was 9.13%. According to Rosstat, in monthly comparison, consumer prices increased by 0.2% in August.

It is noted that food products fell in price by 0.01% in August, when compared with July figures. If compared with the indicator of August 2023, the growth was 9.72%. Prices for non-food products increased by 0.6% on a monthly basis and by 6.09% on an annual basis. The cost of services increased by 0.01% by July 2024 and by 11.73% compared to August last year.
