In August 2024, the volume of mortgage issuance for IT specialists against the background of tightening the conditions of the state program decreased in a month from 30.2 billion rubles to 1.76 billion rubles. The issue decreased by 17 times, the newspaper reports href="https://iz.ru/1756341/evgenii-grachev/trebovalas-perezagruzka-vydachi-it-ipoteki-v-avguste-proseli-v-17-raz">«News»/a> with reference to information from «House.RF».
Experts predict a further reduction in issuance volumes, noting that it is too early to summarize the results, since in August banks continued to issue pre-approved loans under the old conditions, and some applications submitted under the new rules may still be under consideration.
At the end of July, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the validity of the IT mortgage until 2030, while the conditions for its issuance have changed. Thus, housing under the preferential program can no longer be purchased in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the minimum rate has increased from 5% to 6%, and the maximum loan amount is 9 million rubles.
