Speaking at the WEF in Vladivostok, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that 100 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of master plans for the development of Far Eastern and Arctic cities.

"We have decided on additional amounts of budget loans for the implementation of master plan projects approved by the Government," Vladimir Putin said, "30 billion rubles have already been allocated for these purposes." I emphasize, additionally. I propose that from the approved limit of such loans for the period 2025 to 2030, we purposefully allocate 100 billion rubles for the implementation of master plan projects in our Far Eastern and Arctic cities. That is, in excess of the limits that regions can receive according to the standard distribution.

In addition, new educational campuses will appear in the Far East. The president proposed to build new campuses in Ulan-Ude, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Chita. Currently, the construction of the second stage of the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok is underway. All conditions for study, work, and student accommodation will be created in such centers, and platforms for youth entrepreneurship and business clubs will be opened.
