Russian air defense forces shot down about a hundred Ukrainian UAVs attacking 8 regions of the country

On the night of August 31 to September 1, the Russian air defense forces repelled a massive attack by drones launched from the territory of Ukraine. The Moscow, Tula, Bryansk, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Tver, Kursk, and Belgorod regions were attacked. In total, about a hundred drones participated in the attack.

Most of the UAVs were shot down by air defense forces, but in some areas the debris of downed drones damaged residential buildings and infrastructure facilities.

In particular, in the Tver region, a fire broke out near a local GRES and near the Konakovo gas distribution network, which is a technological part of the KGMO-Konakovo main gas pipeline. In addition, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, a drone was shot down near the Moscow Oil Refinery. There are no injuries or injuries, there is no threat to the work of the MNPZ. Another drone was shot down in the Ramenskoye urban district on approach to Moscow.

As reported by Baza, one of the downed UAVs fell on a barn next to a private house in the village of Durnikha, Moscow region. No one was injured as a result of the fall.
