Detonation of explosive objects has been going on for 8 hours in the Ostrogozhsky district of the Voronezh Region

The head of the Ostrogozhsky district of the Voronezh region, Sergei Khoroshilov, said that the detonation of explosive objects in the area is still ongoing after the raid by Ukrainian UAVs.

As already known, on the night of August 24, the Voronezh region was raided by UAVs launched from the territory of Ukraine. Five drones were shot down by Russian air defense forces. After the drone debris fell, explosions began in the area, which have been going on for more than eight hours.

According to the Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev, the fire in the Ostrogozhsky district began at about 4 a.m. Two women have already been injured during the detonation of explosive objects. An emergency regime has been declared in three settlements of the Ostrogozhsky district, and about 200 people have been evacuated.
