Is there an opportunity to provide enterprises with preferential loans today?

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has extended the acceptance of applications for the inclusion of investment projects in the KIP mechanism (cluster investment platform) until November 29, 2024. The extension is due to the increased interest of industrial enterprises in the mechanism of concessional debt financing of KIP. 40 projects with a total value of 831.1 billion rubles have already been approved, of which the volume of loans attracted is 578.3 billion rubles.

What is the essence of the mechanism, what is important for businesses to know?

Industrial enterprises can receive a preferential investment loan for the implementation of projects for the production of priority products at a rate of 30% of the key rate of the Bank of Russia (currently it is 8.4%), with the possibility of extension for 2 years.

The list of priority products consists of 317 items, from raw materials to components and end products. The full list can be found on the FRP portal.

It is possible to submit documents for participation in the selection through the State Information System of Industry (GISP).

Support may include special conditions by decision of the government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade clarifies.
