Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed creating a special program for those participating in the Special Military Operation (SVO) who do not have a university degree, to allow them to serve the country in civilian roles as well.
"There are many young men on the front lines who do not have a completed higher education. For this category of our soldiers, we also need to create the necessary conditions so that they can realize their potential in civilian service. A separate special training and recruitment program should be established for them to gain practical experience," Putin said during a government meeting.
Putin suggested that this new program should be similar to the existing "Time of Heroes" initiative, which prepares personnel from among SVO participants and veterans.
