Yaroslavl Refinery Damaged in Massive Drone Attack, Governor Reports

Infrastructure at the Yaroslavl refinery was damaged following a massive drone attack, according to regional governor Mikhail Yevraev.

Yevraev stated that last night, air defense systems in the Yaroslavl region shot down 124 drones. As a result, the refinery was damaged, leading to a fire and casualties. Two employees sustained shrapnel wounds and were hospitalized. Emergency services are currently working to extinguish the fire.

Due to the drone attack, traffic movement on the road from Yaroslavl to Moscow was temporarily blocked. Normal traffic flow has since been restored.

(Note: The refinery in question is located in the city of Yaroslavl, Russia. "NPZ" stands for "Neftepererabatyvayushchiy zavod," which translates to "oil refinery" in English.)
