### Russian Currency Export Control Prevented 291 Violations, Blocked $180M in Q2 2026
Moscow, August 2026 – Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov announced that the measures introduced to control the export of cash foreign currency have helped prevent 291 violations between April and July 2026. The total amount of currency funds blocked during these inspections reached $180 million.
Siluanov also highlighted the increase in regional government revenues. According to his estimates, in 2027, these revenues will approach 25 trillion rubles, nearly doubling compared to 2021.
Additionally, the minister noted the success of measures aimed at legalizing economic activity. Since the launch of the **SPOT system** (an acronym for a Russian initiative aimed at combating shadow economy), 34 billion rubles have been collected into the budget.
