### Russian Oil Companies Receive $1.5 Billion in July from Federal Budget Under Demurrage Mechanism
Russian oil companies received 113 billion rubles ($1.5 billion) from the federal budget in July under the oil demurrage mechanism, according to the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
In the previous month, payments to oil companies from the budget under the fuel demurrage mechanism amounted to 210.6 billion rubles ($2.7 billion).
In 2025, thanks to the demurrage mechanism, oil companies received 881.8 billion rubles ($11.3 billion) from the federal budget, compared to 1.815 trillion rubles ($23.2 billion) the previous year.
