As of 4:09 a.m. GMT, October futures for Brent crude oil were up 1.49% to $85.02 per barrel. The previous day, Brent had fallen by 7% to $83.77 per barrel, largely due to signs of de-escalation in the Middle East conflict.
Meanwhile, September futures for WTI crude oil were up 1.12% to $81.24 per barrel. In the previous session, the contract had lost 5.1%, falling to $80.34 per barrel.
