Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 223 Ukrainian drones overnight on July 23, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Orenburg, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Tver, Tula, Ulyanovsk regions, Moscow area, the Republics of Crimea (a region claimed by Ukraine but annexed by Russia in 2014) and Tatarstan, as well as over the Azov Sea.
