Putin establishes new commemorative date - Hockey Day

Russia has officially established a new national holiday – Hockey Day. The corresponding decree was signed by President Vladimir Putin.

According to the document, Hockey Day will be celebrated annually on December 22. The decree states that the new commemorative date is introduced to promote and further develop hockey in the country.
