### New Russian Standard for Professional Cleaning to Be Introduced in 2026 Starting October 1, 2026, a new national standard for applying lean production principles in professional cleaning will come into effect in Russia, according to TASS. The new standard (GOST) will establish performance evaluation criteria, including labor productivity, cleaning quality, time spent on cleaning, the number of repeat jobs, and material consumption. The standard will apply to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs providing cleaning services for real estate, transportation, and adjacent areas. Its implementation will enable business owners to monitor employee or equipment utilization, material usage efficiency, route organization, and reasons for repeat work. Analyzing these metrics will help reduce unnecessary costs without compromising the quality of service provided to visitors. It is noted that standardizing cleaning operations will lay the groundwork for digital monitoring and robotization of processes.
