Russian air defenses destroy over 320 Ukrainian drones in one day

### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive Drone Attack Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized a large-scale drone attack throughout the day, according to the Ministry of Defense. From 8:00 to 18:00 Moscow time, a total of 322 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were shot down. In the first half of the day, from 8:00 to 14:00, Russian air defense units destroyed 152 drones. The majority of the strikes were concentrated in the Bryansk region, where 103 drones were eliminated. Other regions also saw drones being intercepted: 13 in the Tula region, 12 in Kaluga, and 10 in Belgorod. Additionally, drones were intercepted over the Azov Sea (4), Kursk region (3), Krasnodar region (2), Crimea (2), and Moscow region (2). One drone was also destroyed in the Oryol region. In the second half of the day, from 14:00 to 18:00, Russian air defense forces shot down another 170 drones. Again, the majority were intercepted in the Bryansk region—73 drones. A significant number of drones were also destroyed over the Krasnodar region (27) and Tula region (19). Eleven drones were shot down in Belgorod, 10 in Ryazan, and 6 in Kursk. The Ministry of Defense reported that drones were also intercepted over the Azov Sea (5), Kaluga region (5), Black Sea (4), Oryol region (3), and Crimea (3). Three drones were also destroyed in the Moscow region, with two of them reportedly heading towards Moscow itself. Another drone was eliminated over the Lipetsk region. In total, Russian air defense systems repelled one of the largest drone attacks, affecting several regions and adjacent sea areas over a ten-hour period.
