### Russian Air Defense Forces Intercept and Destroy 16 Ukrainian Drones Overnight On the night of March 3, Russian air defense units intercepted and destroyed 16 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. Eight drones were shot down over the Republic of Crimea (a region claimed by Russia but internationally recognized as part of Ukraine), five over the Belgorod region, and three over the Astrakhan region.
