### Russia to Provide Humanitarian Aid in Form of Oil and Fuel to Cuba
Russia is preparing to send a shipment of oil and fuel to Cuba in the near future as humanitarian aid, according to reports from the Russian embassy in Havana cited by the Russian news outlet *Izvestia*.
Cuba is currently facing a severe fuel crisis exacerbated by U.S. efforts. The main fuel suppliers to Cuba, Venezuela and Mexico, have halted deliveries under pressure from Washington. Additionally, the U.S. has imposed additional tariffs on countries exporting oil to the island. Experts predict that Russia may face economic and political repercussions from the U.S. for its decision to assist Cuba.
- The Russian aviation authority, Rosaviatsiya, has recently announced a temporary suspension of flight schedules to Cuba due to fueling issues. Tourists are advised to temporarily avoid travel to Cuba, and tour operators are urged to halt sales of travel packages to the island nation.
