### Suspected Assailant in Attack on Russian General Detained Abroad A suspect in the shooting of Russian Defense Ministry Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseyev has been detained abroad and is currently being transported to Moscow, according to a report by Russian TV channel REN-TV citing its own sources. Media reports indicate that, in addition to the alleged perpetrator, a possible accomplice has also been detained. Telegram channel Shot notes that the suspects are being brought from Dubai to Moscow for further investigation. General Alekseyev, who sustained gunshot wounds, survived the attack and has regained consciousness after undergoing surgery.
