### Russian Minors Must Now Use Passports for International Travel
Starting January 20, Russian minors will no longer be able to cross the state border using a birth certificate. Instead, they will need a foreign passport for international travel, according to the Russian Federal Migration Service (MVD).
"Starting from January 20, the birth certificate will be excluded from the list of documents that allow Russian minors to cross the state border," the service announced.
It was also noted that Russian citizens over 14 years old and adults can still enter Belarus, Abkhazia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and South Ossetia using their domestic Russian passports.
