Number of Pickup Points in Russia Increased by Almost 50% Over the Year

In Russia, the pace of opening new order pick-up points accelerated in 2025. Over the year, their number increased by 44.7%, reaching 226,400. The year before, the annual growth rate was 25.9%. This information, based on calculations by the "Yandex Maps" service, is reported by "Kommersant".

The increase in the number of pick-up points in the country is explained by the expansion of platforms into smaller settlements and the opening of pick-up points based on "Russian Post" branches.

However, according to experts, in 2026, the growth rate of new pick-up point openings will be more modest. Marketplaces find it harder to attract new partners, and consumer activity is slowing down. According to Rosstat data, for January-November 2025, the retail trade turnover amounted to 55.18 trillion rubles, increasing by only 2.5% over the year, whereas for the entire 2024, the market growth was 7.7%.
