In Russia, sales of new heavy-duty trucks fell by 54% year-on-year in 2025, reaching 46,900 units, according to Autostat.
Experts from the agency describe the results of the past year as the lowest in the market over the past five years. The last "anti-record" was set in 2022, when 69,200 such trucks were sold.
The most popular trucks in the past year remained semi-trailer tractors. Their market share was 33.5%, but sales decreased by 69%. The share of special-purpose equipment on the market was 29.2% (a decrease in sales of 23%), and dump trucks accounted for 19.2% (a decrease in sales of 59%).
