In Russia, a unified monitoring system has been created for comprehensive analysis of the fuel market. It allows tracking the dynamics of retail and wholesale prices, fuel stock levels, as well as production capacity utilization and capabilities at the regional level. This provides a more complete picture of ongoing processes and reduces the risk of delayed response to changes in market conditions.
In addition, a short-term forecasting model for motor fuel consumption has been developed. It takes into account the peculiarities of nonlinear demand, seasonal fluctuations, and the influence of external factors, which increases the accuracy of expected consumption volume estimates and helps to identify potential imbalances in advance.
Summing up the discussion, Alexander Novak emphasized the need to make the most effective use of the created analytical platform. According to him, comprehensive data analysis should become a tool for making prompt decisions and timely responding to possible challenges in the fuel market.
