A new model of northern delivery will be gradually implemented in Russia. Traditional supply mechanisms are being complemented by more technologically advanced solutions, which increases the reliability and predictability of deliveries. During the current winter season, all settlements have been provided with fuel, and priority delivery of northern delivery cargo has ensured stable heat supply.
To improve the consistency and resilience of logistics, a comprehensive northern delivery plan for 2026–2028 has been approved. Coordination of actions by all participants in the supply chain will be carried out using the digital platform FGIS "Northern Delivery", the first module of which has already been put into industrial operation.
The main tasks for 2026 are to expand the range of goods supplied and increase their availability. This is planned to be achieved, among other things, through the localization of production of certain types of products and modernization of energy facilities operating on imported fuel.
Financial support for northern delivery will be significantly strengthened: in 2026, the volume of funding using budgetary loans will triple. For comparison, last year more than 10.2 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes.
Special attention is paid to the development of logistics infrastructure. In Yakutia, the formation of a network of 13 trade and logistics centers is being completed, which has already allowed for an expansion of the range of goods supplied. This experience is planned to be replicated in other northern regions. At the same time, e-commerce will be developed, with its services reaching the most remote settlements.
In addition, in the current year, a fleet managed by JSC "Rosatom Arktika" will be used to supply Yakutia, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk Territory, and Sakhalin Region.
