The Central Bank Launches Anonymous Reporting Service for Insider Trading and Market Manipulation

A service has been launched in Russia where individuals can anonymously report cases of improper use of insider information and market manipulation, according to a press release from the Central Bank of Russia. Through this service, one can alert the Central Bank about insiders making profitable transactions; disclosure of insider information; collusion among traders leading to market volatility; violations of insider policies within companies, and so on. To support the information provided, relevant documents can be attached to the message. The Central Bank will review the received information and, if necessary, take measures against the violators. It is noted that the service does not provide feedback or compensation for the information submitted.
