Self-employed incomes grew by 38.6% over the year

Self-employed individuals in Russia have started reporting their income more actively, with their earnings growing by more than a third over the past year. This was reported by "Vedomosti" citing statistical data from the Federal Tax Service.

In 2025, self-employed individuals earned slightly more than 3 trillion rubles, which is 38.6% higher than in 2024 when their total income amounted to 2.2 trillion rubles.

Taxes accrued to them also increased by more than a third. The treasury is due to receive 136 billion rubles compared to 99.8 billion rubles the previous year.
