The "Gosuslugi" portal has launched a registry of habitual non-payers of alimony. The service allows you to find out whether a specific person has a debt on alimony obligations - both for the maintenance of children and parents, as well as to obtain information on the amount of debt and the region where it is registered. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development.

The Ministry clarified that the registry does not include all debtors, but only those recognized as habitual non-payers. This refers to citizens who have been administratively or criminally prosecuted for evading alimony payments or have been declared wanted by bailiffs.

To check, it is enough to specify the surname, name, patronymic, and date of birth of the person. The service is open to all users and does not require authorization on the portal or entering personal documents.

The ministry emphasized that the new tool can be used to assess financial integrity, for example, when concluding transactions or making business decisions. In addition, the developers believe that the publicity of the information can become an additional incentive for debtors to pay alimony obligations in a timely manner.
