Average price of new passenger cars in Russia has increased by 10%

In December 2025, the average price of new passenger cars in Russia reached 3.48 million rubles, which is 10% higher than a year earlier, according to the analytical agency Autostat. However, on a month-to-month basis, the average cost of new cars decreased by 1.5%. Experts described this decline as short-term, predicting that the trend of rising prices will continue in 2026.
