"Lenta" Announces Purchase of "OBI Russia" Hypermarket Chain

The "Lenta" group has received approval from the Federal Antimonopoly Service to acquire the assets of the DIY hypermarket network "OBI Russia," according to a press release from the grocery retailer.

The scope of the deal will include 25 trading pavilions with a total area of 263,000 square meters.

It was previously reported that the construction hypermarket chain OBI will operate under a new name - DOM Lenta.
