Three Russian Regions to Receive Over 300 Million Rubles for Urban Space Improvement

Mordovia, Kalmykia, and Kirov region will receive additional federal funding for the implementation of public space improvement projects. The total amount of funds allocated to the three regions exceeds 300 million rubles, according to the press service of the Russian government.
In the Kirov region, the funding will be directed towards the continuation of works on the improvement of the city park named after S.M. Kirov, one of the main public spaces in the regional center.
In Saransk, the capital of Mordovia, it is planned to renovate a public area located between Seradzskaya and Popov streets. The project envisages comprehensive improvement with enhancement of pedestrian and recreational infrastructure.
In Kalmykia, the funds will be used for the development of the urban environment in Elista. A park area along Lenin Street will be improved from Pushkin Street to Pyrbeev Street.
All works are being carried out within the framework of the federal project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment".
