The Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have been tasked with exploring the possibility of extending the discounted toll road access for Russian-made electric vehicles on federal highways until 2026. This directive was given by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, according to sources cited by Kommersant. One of the sources stated that the decision to extend the discount has already been made in principle. Currently, the discount applies to travel on the M-1 "Belarus", M-3 "Ukraine", M-4 "Don", M-11 "Neva", M-12 "Vostok" highways, as well as the Central Ring Road (TsKAD). The discount covers electric vehicles such as Evolute, "Moskvich 3e", "Amberavto A5", Lada Ellada and e-Largus, "Gazel e-NN" and "Gazel e-City", as well as electric trucks from EM-Rus company. The discount was introduced on March 1, 2023, to stimulate demand for Russian electric vehicles.
