Colonel of police, head of the Magnitogorsk branch of the Russian Interior Ministry, Konstantin Kozitsyn, is suspected of disclosing information classified as state secret. He has been detained by the Federal Security Service (FSB), according to law enforcement sources cited by URA.RU.
According to the investigation, Kozitsyn passed information related to state secrets to a business representative. A criminal case has been opened based on these allegations. Additionally, the colonel is suspected of lobbying for the interests of a commercial entity. As part of the criminal investigation, searches are being conducted at his workplace and residence.
