Toyota Registers Four Trademarks for Vehicles in Russia

Japanese corporation Toyota has registered several more trademarks with the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), according to TASS.

The trademarks Toyota IQ, Raize, Picnic, and Stralet have been registered by the agency. According to the international classification of goods and services, these trademarks can be used for various types of vehicles.

Applications for their registration were submitted to Rospatent in October 2024 and March 2025 from Japan. The validity period of the trademarks Picnic, Stralet, and Toyota IQ is limited until March 31, 2035, while Raize is valid until October 31, 2034.

• Toyota left Russia in 2022, and since then, the company has submitted 86 applications for trademark registration to Rospatent.
