Russian Air Defense Forces Repelled Night Attack by 287 Ukrainian Drones

Over the past night, on December 11th, Russian air defense forces and means intercepted and destroyed 287 Ukrainian drones, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. In the Брянская region, 118 drones were shot down; in the Калужская region, 40; in the Moscow region, 40 (including 32 drones heading towards Moscow); in the Тульская region, 27; in the Новгородская region, 19; in the Ярославская region, 11; in the Липецкая region, 10; in the Смоленская region, 6; in the Курская region, 5; in the Орловская region, 5; in the Воронежская region, 4; in the Рязанская region, 2. Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported a massive drone attack on the capital. During the night, 32 drones were destroyed. Due to the drone attack, the "Kover" plan was implemented at all Moscow airports. Flights were not sent and not received at Sheremetyevo, Zhukovskiy, Vnukovo, and Domodedovo airports. About 200 flights were canceled or delayed during the night. Currently, restrictions at the airports have been lifted.
