Former Deputy Head of Taxidi Municipal Construction Authority Arrested in Major Bribery Case

Former deputy head of the construction department of the military construction complex of the Ministry of Defense, Dmitry Taxidi, has been detained on corruption charges. This is reported by "Kommersant" citing its own sources.

Taxidi is accused of abuse of authority in the execution of the state defense order and receiving a bribe in a particularly large amount.

According to the investigation, in 2023, Taxidi, while working in the Novorossiysk branch of the GUSS, advocated for the interests of a supplier when a contract for the construction of a military object in the Krasnodar region was being signed. In return, the official received compensation. The exact amount of the bribes has not yet been specified.

Taxidi denies any guilt. Law enforcement agencies are investigating his possible involvement in other similar crimes.
