The Russian government will allocate an additional approximately 1 billion rubles by the end of this year to subsidize preferential loans for the creation of tourist infrastructure within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality," according to a press release from the government.

As a result, the total amount of funds allocated for the implementation of this program by 2025 will exceed 26 billion rubles. The additional funding will allow for the continuation of subsidized preferential loans issued for the reconstruction of hotels, construction of ski resorts, water parks, and amusement parks.

The program of preferential loans for tourism investment projects has been in operation in Russia since 2021.
