Development of Marine Unmanned Systems to be Handled by Ministry of Industry and Trade and Maritime Rescue Service

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (Minpromtorg) and the Maritime Rescue Service have agreed to jointly develop domestic maritime unmanned systems. The cooperation agreement was signed at the 19th International Forum and Exhibition "Transport of Russia". According to the agreement, the departments will exchange information on the use of the merchant fleet and marine equipment.

In addition, the parties will meet in the future as joint expert and working groups, conduct joint conferences, seminars, round tables, and launch training programs.

Minpromtorg believes that the agreement with the Maritime Rescue Service will ensure the safe, efficient, and commercially successful implementation of maritime unmanned systems in the Russian economy.
