MICEX Index rises by 1% during Wednesday trading session

On Wednesday, the MICEX Index is rising by 1% during the trading session and is trading at 2520 basis points. The most liquid stocks are showing the following trading dynamics: - Sberbank +0.1%; - Rosneft +0.2%; - Gazprom +0.5%; - VTB +0.2%. It should be noted that the MICEX Index is a price index of the Russian stock market, calculated based on market capitalization (free-float) and includes highly liquid stocks of large and rapidly developing Russian companies. The overview was presented by Yulia Grishchenko, a member of the Expert Council of the Moscow Exchange Listing Committee, Ph.D. in Economics, Head of the Department of Financial and Investment Management at the Faculty of "Higher School of Management" of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
